WCWA is looking for a Business Strategy Director who will help plan and achieve the goals and vision of WCWA. They will work with all other departments to achieve the organization's goals by using research, planning, and evaluation of the industry and its trends. The Business Strategy Director will identify trends in the market, forecast patterns, research the actions of competitors, and formulate cohesive strategies based on the organization’s medium and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.

  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generate product development ideas.

  • Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business.

  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth.

  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.

We are looking for a creative and goal-oriented Advertising Coordinator to lead our advertising initiative. You will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for our organization. This will be accomplished through a variety of tasks including designing digital marketing campaigns and performing market research

Sponsorship Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated self-driven Sponsorship Coordinator who will be responsible for selling Event Sponsorship packages to local businesses. This will include face to face meetings with clients, phone pitches, and negotiating to best match sponsorship offers to clients. Commission Based

 

Responsibilities

  • Seek new sponsors (media/advertising/programming/general support) and meet with potential clients to outline what services they would value most including both cash and in-kind support/product from different corporations and foundations

  • Book media advertising and ensure material is ready as required

  • Roll out and support the Business Strategy Director with implementation of sponsor leverage activities, delivery of benefits and negotiated arrangements;

  • Develop and implement sponsorship strategies in order to maximize revenues;

  • Coordinating sponsor events pre and during the events, including sending invitations, managing door lists, booking venues and handling any issues as they arise on the day

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to handle social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: developing relevant content and topics to reach the company's target customers, create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcasts).

We are looking for a Talent Relations Administrator to assist with the management and coordinating of booked talent. You will implement processes and procedures to engage, track, and manage, talent requests, necessities, travel requirements etc. Work closely with other departments to ensure talent participation and appearances. Assist with special events.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of different administrative tasks

  • Maintain Contact databases and mailing lists with updates

  • Build and maintain long-term relations with clients, media, local politicians, vendors etc.

EV Ops Coord

Event Operations Coordinator

We are looking for an Event Operations Coordinator to assist with the management and coordinating of live events. You will act as negotiator to obtain cost-effective prices from suppliers and venues, search for new locations to host future events, and ensure that event requirements are met for smooth event operation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Apply for licenses, permits required with the relevant authorities

  • Coordinate and manage the set-up and production of the event on site

  • Ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event

  • Plan and propose workflows for every event

  • Supervise and manage all suppliers and contractors working on location.

  • Ensure a smooth operation throughout each event.

  • Required to work closely with the members of other departments to collectively produce a successful event.

  • To handle multiple projects from entry level to huge events

  • Logistics management and inventory control of all equipment, materials and any other items

Sound Production Assistant

We are looking for a Sound Production Intern who can assist with the setup and running of sound during live events and also record, mix, and edit music and audio for highlight videos, matches, and promotional material.

 

Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions and details from directors, producers etc

  • Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings

  • Enhance sound quality and add sound effects to recordings

  • Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks

  • Play backing tracks and special effects during live events

  • Collaborate with lighting, camera and other people

  • Create and maintain sound libraries

  • Resolve technical issues when they arise

Requirements

  • Experience with sound editing and recording equipment (e.g. mixing consoles)

  • Working knowledge of recording software and hardware (e.g. Pro Tools)

  • A team player with excellent communication skills

  • Creativity and attention to detail

  • Problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent hearing and manual dexterity

  • High school diploma; Degree in audio/sound engineering or related field is a plus

Video Editor Assistant

We are looking for a Video Editor Intern who can assist with editing and assembling recorded matches and promotional materials into a finished product by direction for broadcasting across multiple mediums with a quick turn around.

 

Responsibilities

  • Rearrange scenes.

  • Work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.

  • Determine which camera angles to use.

  • Insert music, sound, or optical effects.

  • Work on, television programs, music videos, training videos or advertisements.

  • Reorder and tweak the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.

  • Determine exact cutting for final stages.

  • Work with director to achieve desired end result.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or similar degree or pursuing

  • Some experience of using video and editing equipment

  • Creative thinker

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, or other editing software

  • Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred

Facilities Man

Facilities Manager

We are looking for a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for making sure that the Stryker Training Facility, WCWA Arena, and Wrestling ring will meet the needs and standards for wrestlers and attendees. Facilities manager will be accountable for coordinating services such as cleaning, security, and parking, to make sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards

  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations

  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs

  • Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors

  • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.

  • Handle insurance plans and service contracts

  • Keep records
